We're breaking the stigma affiliated with food insecurity.
Our commitment to diversity, equity,  and inclusion is one that goes far beyond a statement; it's in every fiber of our work.

Just like the children we serve,  our strength comes from our diversity and we celebrate the visible and invisible qualities that make each person unique, including race, gender,  sexuality, socio-economic status, ability, religion, national origin, gender identity, and other identities.

To remove the stigma often attached to children requiring basic need assistance, Blessings in a Backpack schools do not require separate sign up of those in need. As we have often found that many families in need will not sign up out of shame or public perception, every child receives a Blessings Bag on Friday.  This policy ensures that all in need receive our help without the damaging stigma.

We also partner with fellow non-profits in our community to ensure we are strengthening the voice for children's advocacy.

We feed ALL children, and that is our greatest blessing.
